qantas price promise - HOTEL

Hi guys,

Just exploring the opportunity to book a hotel stay via QF and wanting to take advantage of the price promise and have a few doubts/questions.

1. Do they actually pay you the points?
2. A 2 night say for example, can you break it into two transactions therefore using the price promise twice?
3. Say 200 a night + CC fee of $3 = 203. The price beat is say 195. So a refund back to your CC of 8 dollars or 5?
4. EDR attract 2 points or 1?

Actually just realised, if you are going for cheapest rates on hotels, this will never work.

I did a price match on a stay (Star city in Sydney), I was refunded the difference within 24 hours of them confirming that there was a price issue, the 1K points turned up about a month later.

I thought about doing that but seeing the cheapest rates, usually have no refund policy and the qf has a 24 hr refund policy so a bit hard to match that..... therefore will not be eligible.
