Qantas Red Planet

Me: Last Contact was Shopper Preferences survey on 28/6/15. Nothing since.

Maybe I don't spend enough at the shops??

Regards,

BD

Yep, today is last day to complete 2 surveys to win 500k points.

(Initial 2 background surveys, don't count as far as I'm aware)

So we expect the deluge of surveys (based on other schemes) to begin Saturday ... or am I just a bit too sceptical??

Regards,

BD

Their emails weren't consistent:

Email #1:
Subject: coriander, join Red Planet Panel and be rewarded

Ten members will each win 500,000 points for completing two surveys by 31 July 2015.*

Email #2:
Subject: Red Planet Survey Invitation

We encourage you to complete both surveys as soon as you can. If you complete both surveys by 30 June 2015 you will be automatically entered into a fantastic prize draw, where you could be 1 of 10 winners, each receiving 500,000 Qantas Points.

That would be the work experience guy in Marketing again....:oops:

Nothing here yet. But expecting the flow to start next week, after they've collated the data from the first round.

That's what I understand so pretty miserable IMO. At least play fair! If it is not possible to complete 2 surveys (i.e. not in a targeted group) don't make it sound like you have a chance at all.

If it is not possible to complete 2 surveys......

My email #2 additionally said "Thank you for being part of the Red Planet Panel. You are invited to take part in our first 2 surveys which focus on today's digital world and how people interact with media.

This email contained the links to surveys #1 and #2.According to the email quoted above, completing those first two surveys enters us into the 500k draw.

Email #1 also said "Earn up to 300 points for every completed survey from 1 August 2015." So I wonder if survey #3 was sent out too early (ie it wasn't supposed to hit our inboxes till 01 August 2015).

I received another invite today, mostly to do with light entertainment on TV. At first there were errors (twice) trying to get the survey to load, and another when I completed it. I wonder just wonder how robust this system is:

Getting the same message.... pool times out in the email link and try and log in and the above message pops up.

Stroke of genius putting out a survey at the last gasp .... way to crash a server
