Dear QF WP,

Over the past year we've been receiving lots of feedback about how we can make your Red Planet research experience even better.

Well, we've been listening and we have some exciting changes on the way, including a new home for all our members, called The Portal.

This new website will be the gateway to the Red Planet research community - a one-stop shop for managing your account, taking part in surveys and learning more about our research findings.

More importantly, we are working with leading research partners to improve your experience further, with a wider range of survey topics and more opportunities to earn Qantas Points.

So to make sure you do not miss out on any survey invitations or important news from us, we urge you to save our new email address [email protected] to your contacts now.

Then in the next few days keep an eye out for an email announcing the launch of The Portal. We will be asking you to create a new password for your account and will also have a new survey for you to complete.

We look forward to seeing you on The Portal very soon!

Keep getting survey invitations but when I click I'm told I've paused it and cannot access it 'again'.

I got my new invitation to the Portal this morning. Have set up the new password and done the first survey. Some interesting info from previous surveys too. A lot better than the old way of checking points and things. At least now this new portal includes some information.

Received the Portal link and the 150 points for doing the launch survey but I did notice on my survey history that it has been over 3 months since the last one.
Only issue was that I did not have a back arrow for one page and made a mistake, so could not correct it. Not good design.

Love_the_life, most research surveys are set up without back buttons. It can be a nuisance when you realise you have made a mistake but they do it so that someone can not go back and change answers if they realise that the choice takes them through a lot of questions they could otherwise avoid!

I would think that you could send their support email a comment and they could fix the answer up for you or something like that.

I can see why they may do it though I have had back arrows on many other survey forms. It's no big deal but it does mean that if people answer incorrectly they will make up a response to the next question/s which is what I would have done- hardly valid information then. As it was I picked 'other' and said it was an error.
I certainly wouldn't bother with a separate email.

I say, this red planet malarkey sounds alright: is it still a case of 'don't contact us, we'll contact you' for participation?

It seems to be. Whilst I have received the email announcing the Portal, I haven't received the invitation email to take part......

Just whatever will we do with our unexpressed views, Mr_Orange?

With apologies to Groucho: I refuse to join any club that'd have me as a member.

+1
I finally just went to the web site as referenced in the email address. Asked me for email address and to set up password. Listed previous surveys.

Happy wandering

Fred
