Qantas Red Planet

Got the email yesterday for "Media Review" and completed just now for 250 points.

Also thought that question about FF number on BP's has been a long time coming. Still see a lot of people who discard their BP's in the seatback and cleaners haven't taken, after all one could use them for nefarious purposes if so inclined (together with the information contained in the barcode area if one had a barcode reader).

I just did this survey, interesting question at the very end about changing how FF details are displayed on the BP. Must say, I think either removing the numbers altogether, or masking a few of them like happens with a credit card makes a lot of sense.

Though they won't be on the boarding pass they would still have to be in the barcode , so really this is just a feelgood measure in my opinion.

I got the same one and managed to complete it. I think I have worked out why I don't get many survey invitations. I don't look anything like the beautiful people on their webpage :)

Just did the electricity survey... other than it saying "resume" in my account despite actually finishing it, I thought it started really weirdly!

That screenshot confirms it for me. Red Planet is now powered by e-Rewards as opposed to whatever powered it before. I recognise that style of random question surveys.

Not sure about this.

- I have had this for other survey sites (e.g. Opinion Miles, the new IHG reward site), not only e-rewards
- while I sometimes get for e-rewards, sometimes I don't

What I think is that e-rewards (and apparently Red Planet now) are "aggregators" of a number of survey sites. I have had a number of recognisable but different types of surveys through e-rewards and others so I think these sites "sell space" to other survey companies and get paid for it, which they then provide some of this benefit back to us as rewards.

Yes, I've seen this type of question sheets from lots of online survey companies. I can't remember who the actual producer of this type of quiz is however as it's popped up on lots of my accounts.

The idea is to find the check question, answer yes to that and no to everything else, even if the answer is yes to some of them. Don't give them any more information than they actually need. The check question is usually a question that the majority of people would answer yes to like, have you been to a shopping centre in the last 12 months or have you cooked a meal at home in the last 12 months.

What happens if that question is one you'd answer no to without even thinking about it?

I finally received my invitation to the media survey today. Done and dusted. And just received the electricity survey...through eRewards. Having to get up from my Friday-night lounging position to find my last electricity bill proved a step too far.

Last bill? Not a problem when you have PV panels and you are nerdy enough to want to see if the investment was worthwhile. The info is right here in the computer. (IF I can remember what folder I keep the spreadsheet in)

Happy wandering

Completed the sports/media survey for 200 QFF points today.
Quite exhaustive questioning about which media outlets one thinks of and utilises in order to get their 'Sports' fix.( ie which sports one watches through Free to air, subscription TV, Sports Apps etc).
I suspect many people will get booted out of this survey if they don't meet survey criteria from the first few questions.

I haven't received points into my QFF account for a survey completed on October 11. They do show up as being earned at the Red Planet portal but have not yet been transferred. Any one else faced a delay this long?

it used to take weeks but lately it's only been a few days before points credited..so long as they appear in the red planet portal you should eventually get them. your QFF details are obviously in the RP portal?

Yes details are correct and previous transfers were quite quick (less than a week). I've sent RP an email to see what's causing the delay.
