Has anyone else started getting Qantas Advisory Panel emails again? The panel seemed to die off when Red Planet started. Now that Red Planet is starting to turn people off with the bad surveys and kicking people out randomly, the advisory panel appears to be getting a relaunch.

I had an a email to say there was a survey to do, sign in and there were two - Ringtone and Highspeed. No prizes for guessing that I was screened out of both. One was at entry, the other after a couple of questions. Quite an impressive list of "not a match" in my survey history

Good heavens QF WP. Quite a list. You are either exceedingly rare or exceedingly common in your 'qualifying' info. Or these survey invites are a complete dud.

Just got screened out after a lot of questions. The Project Mine one.

Just unlucky I suppose Pushka - whether it's the answers to the qualifying questions or the time I take before logging in to the surveys? If I go a year without success, then I'm out.

Attempted to do Project Fizz... Said it needed to be done on a PC or tablet but could not get it to work.

(have also been screened out of most other survey companies lately as I'm currently in Europe)

Red Planet email - "Qualifying for surveys"

Over the past six months we have been receiving lots of helpful feedback from our members on the process of qualifying for surveys.

Qualifying for surveys

Often our surveys are seeking opinions from people who have used a specific product or service recently, or taken part in a particular activity. As a result, you may not qualify for every survey you're invited to.

This is common within the research industry, however as we get to know you better over time, we'll be able to better tailor the surveys you are invited to. This will mean you should qualify for more surveys.

Remember, for every survey you do not qualify for you still get an entry into the quarterly draw with a chance to win some great prizes*.

Your feedback is important to us and we're putting a number of things in place to ensure our members are having a positive experience.

Engagement surveys will return

For members that have been a part of Red Planet Research Community for some time, you may remember receiving regular surveys that you automatically qualified for. Based on your feedback, we will be bringing these back to ensure that you have regular surveys to complete and can earn Qantas Points. This will also help us learn more about you, which will help us direct more relevant surveys to you.

To kick things off, you will receive our Media Review 2 survey over the next week.

Introducing new Group Surveys

We'll soon be trialling a new process for some of our projects, called Group Surveys. This is a system that can intelligently direct members to surveys that they are more likely to qualify for within a group of surveys.

So how will it work?

* These new Group Survey invitations will have a Find Survey button at the top.
* When you start one of these surveys from The Portal, the system will ask you a few qualifying questions to determine your eligibility. Based on your responses you will be directed to the most suitable survey available.
* Because we can't determine which survey you will be directed to ahead of time, these new survey invitations will now show a range for survey length and points available.
* If you do not qualify for a survey in the group, you will be rewarded with 50 Qantas Points and an entry into the next available prize draw*.
* Before starting these surveys, you will be presented with a set of very unusual questions. While these might seem odd, they are designed to ensure that you are a genuine respondent and not a robot.
* The whole process should be seamless and you should only notice minor differences. However, we wanted to let you know about this ahead of time so you were aware of the coming changes.
