The points should return pretty much straight away, the $$ refund can take a few days.Thanks. That's exactly what I thought. I did actually cancel online 2 days ago however have no acknowledgement (ie no email etc) other than finding the booking is now defunct online.
I cancelled a CR booking earlier this year - albeit within 24 hrs - the points were back immediately and whilst there wasn’t a confirmation email that the booking was cancelled (like hotels do), I did receive an email almost straight away advising that the refund had been processed.
