Qantas REFUND/ FLIGHT CREDIT Discussion

Below is the text of the email I got this morning. After that is the link to the 'live in O'Riordan Street' Alan Joyce video message.

My active Qantas Passes are the one with outstanding balance 0.39 and another with a Nil balance. Mrs Pineapple didn't receive an email, but she has the Qantas Pass worth 0.97 and three others worth Nil. Possibly I got one because we orignally had 13 various credits including one memorable one which got so screwed up that the only way to fix it was refund.

Hi Pineapple,

We understand that using your travel credits has not been as smooth as it should have been. We’ve heard your feedback and we’ve made improvements.

We will be removing expiry dates for refunds from all Qantas COVID credits from Monday, 4 September 2023. That means that you can request a refund at any point in the future. This change also applies to credits that weren’t previously refundable and those that have been partially used.

If you would like to use your travel credit, you are still required to book by 31 December 2023. To help make them more rewarding, we’re offering double Qantas Points on every eligible flight booking.*
