Yeah, one question was all about names for it. I was like it's Qantas Club annual membership, keep it the same and let the wanna be's deal with it. (I feel I can say that as I still have 9-10 months QP membership on hold for when I drop off the Status bus)Huh? Isn't the QP membership already a subscription model? You pay an annual fee and you get access. What are they proposing now? I can only assume some kind of "enhancement"
I got the survey as well. Looks like they are toying with the idea of a "QC Light" monthly, cancel anytime subscription. Includes lounge access to Qantas operated lounges only, does not include any of the other QC benefits such as extra luggage.Huh? Isn't the QP membership already a subscription model? Agree. One of the many reasons I avoid LAX if i can.If they still deny access for QP at Tom Bradley then it's a no deal for me.

Problem there is that it's not a Qantas lounge but a OW lounge ran ny Qantas. If they still deny access for QP at Tom Bradley then it's a no deal for me. Got caught with that early on in my QC membership

QC members allowed in prior to QF or AA flights. Was that your situation?Qantas Club denied access at TBIT Oneworld Lounge?
I know the complimentary passes are not permitted at that lounge, but thought QC members and guests had full access.
That’s my understanding but I was replying to @smckayQC members allowed in prior to QF or AA flights. Was that your situation?
It seems the proposal has now been picked up by ET

It was a few years back before I found out about rewards flights, but I'm sure when we were there as QC members TBIT was excluded. I thought it funny as we were allowed into LHR and DXB business lounges but not the LAX one. And we stood around LAX for a few hours whilst I received daggers from my missus for getting there so early. That’s my understanding but I was replying to @smckay
Work that needs to temporarily send people for a month or two for a project but not a regular thing year round.Who in their right mind would pay for monthly lounge membership? The food there is complete slop, it would be better just to buy a decent lunch/dinner elsewhere.

So they would pay for lounge but not business class? Seems a bit weird. In my experience companies are either really cheap and won't pay for anything other than an economy ticket or they just pay for business class.
