I'm sitting at Rockpool now and just saw there are no QF FF points on offer. Shock horror!

PS: the Wagyu beef is delicious

Sad news.. I eat regularly at a Thai restaurant in Sydney that participates in the QFF program...

There never have been points for Rockpool?
Saying that, it was the obvious partner restaurant...

Sadly not... if it had been a partner along with all the other Neil Perry restaurants, I would have done quite well for points indeed :(

It's all over red rover, the restaurant program is gone as of 12th August. Criniti's gave me the machine was broken excuse las week, today they told me as the program is closing they have stopped awarding points, From the Qantas website:

Restaurants
Earn 3 Qantas Points per A$1 spent at over 200 restaurants, bars and cafes around Australia. But be quick, from 12 August 2013 Qantas Frequent Flyers will no longer be able to earn points with partner restaurants.

Until 12 August 2013, earn points when you are dining by simply swiping your Qantas Frequent Flyer card^ - if you pay with a credit or charge card that allows you to earn Qantas Points, you'll earn points twice, once with your card and once with the restaurant.

That confirms what many people thought - with the decrease in restaurants in the program it became pointless for QF to keep it going. No real benefit for either party.

Used my card at chill on Tedder in July. No points have accrued to date. :-(
But then it does say it can take up to 8 weeks
