Fares haven't dropped yet :(

Errrrrrrrrrr thats probably because its not today yet in Brazil ie it is 9pm yesterday and as the sale starts today we have to wait for their Yesterday to become Today. :D

I am also going to attempt to make changes now that travel has commenced. Qantas said they could help out here ie date changes

That is my experience too. I had to make a date change to a ticket for travel from the US booked on the AA Argentina site. It was ticketed to 001 (AA stock) and QF were still able to make changes - I suspect as I had already flown the first sector. They even ticketed it to 081 when they processed the change.

EDIT: This was all QF content BTW. QF108/16, QF15/107

1 or 2 people
MEL or SYD to SIN and back
Any dates

Looking at dates of 25 may returning 28 May can get for 1150 real each or around $556.00 still cheaper

depart 76 June return 9 june via Sydney for 1084 real or around $525.00 each

hmmm the price to SIN is already down on viajanet.com.br, decolar.com and zupper.com.br (cheapest $380) Doesnt look good on expedia..maybe give it a bit more time.

Well yes 1046 has been the price for the past few days, but it's not the 900ish it was about 1-2 weeks ago

I think those sites need CPF number and maybe Brazilian CC too. Heard some people successfully used fake number on some sites but well at least we know expedia is safe lol

I hope you guys single handedly hand QFi a lifeline because if what I saw last night continues it will not be around much longer. Enjoy while it lasts.

May is a pretty dead month, I don't think Qantas are looking at the changes to return an instant result either. It's a long term plan and you can't just write them off a few weeks after the changes have come in.

Despite what some others have said I have had an increased interest in Qantas from my client base in recent weeks.
