SYD-MNL were showing cheaper in the previous sale as well, not sure on this sale.

What is "better"?

Upgradable? Or cheaper?

Upgradeable is what I was thinking. Not sure it can be any cheaper!

Ansett,

Thanks for the tip, I've booked outbound in June and return in November, and could only get N. Oh well not to worry!

OOOOOPS

Amended Post to include the fact that it is in J class Booked into I

Also flying QF2-10 and then QF9-9 so good status credits too :D

Funny site the .br site. Thought I would see what a domestic flight costs. ADL to SYD return, in July flying Qantas, a massive $1,482.00 in cattle!

Yah I tried SYD-LAX for Sept flying QF in PE came up about a grand more than the QF web site!

Me too, even normal economy SYD-LAX is way more expensive that the QF site. Weird how its so selective. I would like to find a site which has cheaper fares to LAX to JFK, any ideas if not .br?

See the posts upthread about how Qantas can vary fare bucket availability based on things like Point (country) of sale.

the Vayama site just seems to be yet another third party flight booking site, it doesn't offer cheaper prices than Qantas as far as I could tell with the few dummy bookings I did.

Ah yes seems to book into a different fare class now, I forgot the sale ended on the 30th :(

Although pretty sure last night when I looked (6pm) that the fares had already risen

Whoops - the sale finished on the 29th - .br would have been going 'till around 2pm yesterday.
