Thanks heaps!! I was looking at a few dummy bookings for SYD-SIN over the June long weekend and it turned out to be R$970 which is about $470 AUD return! Make make a weekend of it

Exactly what I have done, I have two weekends in SIN now

One is for 1 night, Leave Saturday morning Australia, get back Monday morning Australia
One is for 2 nights, Leave Friday morning Australia, get back Monday morning Australia

The only thing holding me back from booking one of these cheap fares is that it is alot of Y travel:shock:, in partic. an overnight flight back to OZ!

It's only 8 hours or so! While J/F is nice.. this is too cheap to say no!

Tell me about it, not really looking forward to it at all! But I'll have an extra few drinks in the lounge and get at least a few hours sleep!

FWIW I am sitting in the SIN lounge after my $200 flight from BNE thanks to expedia.br, no issues at all!


Had to LOL, the toddler near me on the communal dining table does not like the ceilings, and was happy to voice their opinons!

Looking forward to our 410 trip in May then another MEL - LON trip for $1055.00 return. Then both of us in October for $1300.00 each and with good seats and upgrade requests in already as managed to secure upgradeable booking classes

Get In early and book as far ahead as possible. Also look at different flight options which are usually about $50 to $100 dearer
