Hi, I am considering booking tickets with expedia br for a long hall flight with a layover (as shown below). If the first flight is delayed and I miss the connection at Dubai would Qantas be responsible for getting me to london? Also would it be say 1 ticket SIN->LGW or would it be 2 tickets SIN>DXB, DXB>LGW ? Thanks

I will be the one itinerary and you would be protected if you miss the connection in DXB.

Welcome to AFF, calcium21.

If you can ticket the above on one itinerary (ie. one transaction, with both flights bookable as one ticket) then you will be protected by the airline (probably Emirates in this case, but protected either way) against a misconnect.

With respect to tickets, if you can book it as one itinerary as mentioned above then it will be one ticket with two segments.

Correct it is connect via DXB! About 2 hours I believe.

I am searching SIN to LGW. It generates it via DXB, and has the little qantas logo beside it. So I assume expedia thinks of it as 1 itinerary?

Expedia will send you an email. Also, in the past, I entered the QFF number in Expedia while booking and the booking shows up immediately in Qantas "My bookings" page.

Expedia will give you an itinerary reference which you can retrieve through the Expedia (Brazil) website.

On the same itinerary, there should also be the QF reference (six letter locator). If you put this reference into CheckMyTrip.com, you can retrieve your e-ticket number.

To check-in online 24 hours beforehand, use the QF reference on the QF website.

I've finally booked one of these from Sydney to Singapore (actually going to Bali but Syd-SIN-DPS was cheaper on QF and JQ than the direct SYD-DPS flight. Booked SIN-DPS separately)

Anyway, had a lot of issue getting my credit cards to go through when using Chrome - tried last night, didn't work and so rang my banks and they couldn't even see the charges trying to go through. Tried again today and wouldn't work again - but then switched to Internet Explorer and it worked - so maybe the issue is partly credit card and partly which browser you are using.

Booked MEL > SIN return inc. 1 night stay at Crowne Plaza, Changi in a Club Room for 3 pax cost $1985.17 without any issues at all. Appeared in My Bookings immediately took 3 days to come up in my credit card. Very happy with the price as well.
