On ExpertFlyer, PER-SIN and ADL-SIN fares are all showing:

Had no such text when I did a PE booking on Tuesday.. perhaps the last sale fares they forgot to add the restrictions?

I've noticed I can regularly get a significant saving from using the BR site for almost all my destinations.

I can still get SYD-SIN for 560 (add maybe 5% for s***ty XE), but I saved a grand booking my flights SYD-BKK-DXB-EBB and NBO-DXB-BKK-SYD - total fare was 2.2k and this was booked just over a week before departure so that is pretty reasonable in my opinion. Flying EK metal all the way too, but QF ticket on all legs except DXB-EBB. That was booked three days ago or so.

Nothing exciting for SYD-HKG, in fact the complete opposite!

I have QF and Expedia open in separate windows and for 2 x PE tickets in Jan 2014. On QF website it is $3k and on Expedia website it is R10,150 (approx. $4.7k).

Am I missing something? I am fairly sure I am not.

Pretty sure its never worked for HKG for whatever reason.

not really getting any "red hot" deals for the dates im chasing (tried quite a few to be fair). the real good deal days are long gone i think...

Think even at $567, its not a bad deal, QF no doubt want to get the sale fare back to over $1000

ive been checking in fairly recently the past fortnight and they were around 1094 BRL direct or 1132 via SYD, so appear unchanged....

You know you can get an F return award SYD-BKK-HKG on TG for well under $3k with the BKK-HKG legs on the A380 through US Dividend Miles and Avianca LifeMiles don't you? I cannot understand why anyone would pay for Y+ when they can get F for cheaper!!

Grab them while you can, just like life its all temporary before it gets enhanced!

If there's one thing I've learnt from this site and FT more than anything else, it's that if you see a great deal, do not wait and ponder because it will vanish while you make up your mind.

Don't think I agree with this. QF site MEL-SIN is $819, BR site can give it to you for about $530, that is a significant saving of 35%! MEL-NRT return is coming up at $1625 on QF site and can be had for $1150 on BR, 30% saving and not small change in nearly $500!

I would have no idea quite honestly. I'm by no means an expert on frequent flying and haven't got to US dividend miles and Avianca miles? If anyone cares to enlighten me via a PM to save going OT here then it would be much appreciated.

The $3k I referred to was for 2 people. Is the 'well under $3k' you are referring to 1 or 2 people?

might work on USDM, but i have had trouble trying to find availability on LM for the BKK-HKG leg, which knocks out that trip, unless you book it as 2 separate legs which increases the cost.

i wasnt disputing it was cheaper than QF website, it's not as cheap as the prior asia sales - in fact the .br rate has remain unchanged (for my dates anyhow) at the above mentioned BRL (1032).

My apologies. The 'well under 3k' I was referring to was for 2 people. Forget what I said.
