they don't. they fly syd-bkk. from mel its mel-syd-bkk. It still won't quote you premium economy but its the same as full fare economy, 60 status credits for syd-bkk

Plus an additional 20 SCs each way for the Mel-syd legs at what's usually only a marginal additional cost

What dates are they flying PE to BKK?

Run a search on Matrix and you should get a good idea.

Set the departure point as SYD. Set the sale city as somewhere in brazil. Turn on advanced routing codes and use "C:QF+". Set the fare type as PE. Set your currency to AUD and "see calendar of fares" for the month you might want to travel. Search round trip for a range of nights (e.g. 6-10).

Look at the prices. If it says $1334 from SYD to BKK, it's a good bet it's PE. Check the fare type by clicking on the result.

It won't tell you whether the flights are loaded into Expedia.br but it will give you some dates.

Plenty in DEC-JAN.

My seatmap shows 3 class but pe is in j mini cabin. Passengers in y with status are in pe if they want. I believe they are trying to squeeze more y pax in

As someone who flew SYD-SIN on the 744 last month at no time could I choose Y+ with my partner who is P1...was this due to the discount Y ticket purchased on the br site? How do you select a full Y fare using the br method?

It happens when QF want to sell more Y, not on normal daily services, there is not trick other than picking a day when Y is being offered with better seating.

Yup this is just Qantas filling the demand for leisure seats to Thailand over high season. A nice little perk that I didn't realise until I had booked the seat!

Now this is very very very tempting ..... syd-bkk-syd (sample dates dep 10/3 and return 22/3) using the hotel method, sees fares down to 963BRL which works out to be ~$445. Wow!

QF have released an Asian sale with most cities at $700-800 return, so a host of more options will come up on .br later today.

I'm just starting my search to get to SIN dep on 22/23 July - hopefully that's on a sale date. Could you plse remind me how to get just the 1 night of the cheapest place for the hotel method?

Select Voo + Hotel or, Flight + Hotel and

check the box that says (if you're translating the page)

I need a hotel for only part of my trip

or the box if you're not translating the page that says

Preciso de um hotel para apenas parte de minha viagem

then select the dates for the one night.

cheers
