You know what - I thought it would look silly but in my opinion it actually looks pretty good. :D

Agreed! I think the 737 fuselage is a big part of the reason it works - because it has the same nose as the 707 it helps it look "right".
 
It still has the Oneworld orb next to the front door :)

Has the oneworld logo ever changed?

That 747SP with the bare underbody is amazing!!!

Probably works inline with the current ad campaign that relives a bit of that nostalgia.. a bit of positive brand sentiment never hurts!

Slightly OT but would love QF to spend some money on all the 737s.. upgrading the interiors (the seats in particular!)

As I already said - bring back the orange stripe!

Would be good to see a 747 done up that way next =)

I remember when that scheme was in regular service! Reto indeed.:D

As a mate pointed out, perhaps a dash8 with spinning props as the James Strong bow tie would have worked.
