QF23 on the 17th is showing fully sold in J so unless there are cancellations I don’t think so
I think she meant could you get CD from Heathrow (given that would be a day later). Presume the answer is no because the CD option wouldn't even come up for you.As in apply for an upgrade on the return? I still could but won't because I won't have enough points and I'm stopping over in Singapore - for 24 hours; so I will just endure Y+.
All right for someI love the Qantas Upgrade Fairy. Got this 8 mins ago, so T-29.75. Now to chose a seat on the A332. Ah life will be tough tomorrow afternoon
A SMS saying not successful? I did not know they did this. All right for some
Unsuccessful at T-8 on 20 Nov for QF568 PER-SYD Y to J, as WP (I got the SMS)

Ah yes, I’ve had them twice this year (MEL/PER on the A332 in Feb springs immediately to mind mind). They certainly let us down gently - still better to know than to hope all the way up to the BP reader that you’ll get a “beep”, a red light and a new BP.A SMS saying not successful? Yes, I've had them before on international upgrade requests, although this was my first knock back for a domestic upgradeDid the SMS come from QFF-Reward? Kinda rubbing salt into the wound if it did.
I had assumed upgrades to the gate might still be a possibility, and on some routes there could be many changes at the last minute that could open up seats. So I'm surprised at this. Perhaps it is only sent when someone is well down the queue!?Ah yes, I’ve had them twice this year (MEL/PER on the A332 in Feb springs immediately to mind mind). I think T-24 (or anywhere within) remains standard. Supposed to be T-48 for WPs and T-168 for P1s and CLs. Can confirm the P1 timeframes still work. What are the current T minus times that upgrade notifications are coming through? I saw T-28 a few posts back but are there others?

Last Sunday, my J--->F upgrade on QF2 came through at T-60 hours (similar last year) rather than T-48 hours as expected as a Plat. Having said that, a couple of years ago, I got a beep at the gate at Dxb notifying me that my upgrade from J --->F on QF 2 for Dxb-Syd sector had come through, having been unsuccessful on the Lhr-Dxb sector..I think T-24 (or anywhere within) remains standard.
