Upgrade for us both came through overnight, QF61, Brisbane to Tokyo (Narita) this Wednesday.

Upgrade for tomorrow on QF 71 came through at T- 27.5. I chose the only vacant seat, luckily 2A, which is perfect.

I am one lucky bronze. 2 out of 2. QF8 tonight DFW-SYD. Paid W upgraded to J. Called to the gate desk at T-50mins. It was F1 J1 at T-2hrs.

Y+ to J on tonights QF8. Came through at T27 for WP. I was worried it wasnt going to happen since WP's are meant to get processed around T48.
Stoked now 2 for 2 on this trip.

I arrived back this morning and as i was getting off got the text that my upcoming QF8 flight upgrade had come through. I think to myself. "Yes i know".
I dont recall if there is a preferred number you enter to be notified when you register for upgrades but since i had put in a destination contact mobile number in the booking i would have thought they would use that to notify me.

My points upgrade on QF15 cleared today. Waiting for the return to clear for QF94 on Tues.

I got called up before 1562. Lounge agent gave me a new boarding pass saying I'd been upgraded. 6C to 4D... (not so much an upgrade as moving from 3rd row of Y to 1st)

(SG) Y to Y+ HKG - SYD at T27 =D

I checked in MNL - HKG at T28 (stop over in HK of 24hrs), upgrade was no where to be seen. When I got to the lounge got a txt fr QF advising me to get a new boarding pass in HK for my HKG - SYD flight.
Only Y+ but better than Y. Plus it'll be my first time in Y+

Now sitting in QF LAX F lounge after Uber from downtown LA and 5 minutes at TSA. (downstairs to arrivals connection checkpoint, only 3 people waiting, vs the ~30 min queue at the main departures checkpoint)

Success Y to J on AKL-MEL QF 156, as WP, something like 30 hours before?
I couldn't get an exit row seat and knew it was going to be a long day before the flight, so splurged on it. There were a couple of free seats in J still, but of course it's not that flash. Now I see there are a couple of Epiqure promos to earn back the points I used
