Hoping I get better news for the return QF774 which I'm on tomorrow. Should I hold off checking in, would that make a difference?

And rejection SMS received at T-5. Changed to a middle seat with no one next to me, so at least I got poor man's premium economy.

I get the fare buckets, I was having some issues actually getting availability to display. There were flights showing zero available seats despite this obviously not being the case. I think I have worked it out now.

QF703 2 days ago, Y to J x2 denied but offered one seat when in the Lounge.
For the sake of domestic harmony (ie my ride 100km to home from the airport) we both remained in Row 4 - I'd already spent $90 to sit there

Very excited to have got our first points upgrade - QF79 19/10 and QF80 4/11, Melb - Narita return. Upgrade from Economy Saver to Business both ways. Husband and I are only Bronze with Qantas Club membership. We did request the upgrade when we first booked in Jun though. Sorry - dont know all the acronyms you guys use!

Hello, new to AFF community, just wanted to post a success story. Purchased Y+ on July 31st for Dec 14 QF11 and requested points upgrade a few days later. T-26 and I've been upgraded to J! I am bronze and it still looks like there's a decent amount of seats in J.

Oops! Most definitely meant July 31st. Keen to sample the various wines and meals, but most excited about being able to actually stretch out for once. I am 6'3" so sleep is basically impossible in economy, and not much better in Y+.
