In the world of GDSs, a carrier appearing or not in unbiased displays is soley driven by block time. If QFs block time on that day or that season is shorter than a competitor the competitor will be pushed to the bottom.
US carriers used to try and shave 1 minute here and there to move their flights to the top on the GDS display.
Thats the likely reason.
If you have to see JQ the price filter usually overcomes that
- Earn up to 100,000 bonus Qantas Points* - Enjoy an annual $450 Qantas travel credit - Don't forget the two complimentary Qantas Club lounge invitations and two visits to the Amex Centurion Lounges in Melbourne and Sydney.
Airlines can bias their own display & QF.com seem to use the "QF group" view of offering both brands for customer choice. It seems like many here agree with me that we would profer filter JQ out.if I wanted to use them, they have their own site. With
the return to OOL there is even less need to see JQ to build thru iTNS ,wish there was more of it.
