[Qantas] Website Problem [21-09-15]

I am having issues again accessing the site called Qantas and couldn't get through to the premuim desk.

Has anyone else noticed that the Qantas mobile site online check-in has stopped working but the online the full PC web based OLCI does still work? Or is it just me?

I have a valid surname and PNR for which the mobile site generates an error, but the same PNR is accepted by the full web site. (tried using Android mobile with mobile web site but ended up having to use the Windows laptop PC with IE11).

Mobile app was telling me I was already checked in (I wasn't), but went to the full site and it worked as normal.

OK - I am not an expert at the QF mobile online checkin site and have only tried a handful of times, I am more familiar with the full site and generally find it pretty reliable, but noticed that QF had a lot of website outages and "planned maintenence" last week with reported login problems, missing status etc on full website and on apps. So was curious if other people were having problems.

I had to call customer service twice in the last week, for things I should have easily been able to do online. The first issue was that I was unable to cancel a classic award booking. The second call was just a date change on another classic award. Clicking on the "Cancel" and "Change" button just says Call Qantas. Is this a website glitch or "enhancement"?

On both occasions, I was told I had to pay $60 service fee, which I argued against successfully. I wonder how many people are getting stiffed on the fee?

OK so all my bookings have disappeared from my iPhone app. Logging out and back in didn't help, and trying to add the bookings manually brought up a "not found" error. :-|

I can see my bookings on the desktop and mobile sites on a web browser though. Anyone else come across this problem?

Same with Android app but my bookings (which had vanished into thin AIRwin) have now reappeared, including a fresh one to LRE next year for the Mega Do (couldn't resist a little advertising on behalf of AFF):

... and they're back. Must've been a temporary glitch.

Make sure that your seating is still showing/valid - last Saturday 26/9 the system cancelled my entire booking (did not know until the gate) even though I had boarding passes issued by QF staff from QF lounge - flight was full and I had to be rebooked on the next flight. New BP's issued at the gate including original return flight & seat - guess what!! return flight seat not valid at gate - no seat showing on the system - thank goodness flight was not full - new seat allocated.
