I have just noticed the earning points calculator does not remember any details like it used to when clicking 'another quote'.

Two steps backwards.

But in this case there wasn't the 1 step forward, so it really is 2 back!!

I think the most annoying thing about the points calculator for me is not that it has no memory (which is certainly irritating) but that it cannot do QF codeshares that are not on QF metal - yet the pull down list has all the ports that QF doesn't fly to.

I agree with you there. Although I believe that has always been the case.

Anyone else lost the ability to book one ways and returns?

Multicity and rtw options are there - trying to force revenue?

I have deleted cookies and browsing history - turned on and off the computer the problem still appears

I had been searching reward flights for most of the afternoon without any trouble.

No problems with QF here. The internet has been doing strange things lately. I cant book VA when connected to IINET from home, I have to switch to my Telstra 4G. I think my modem/router is blocking them. (that's what IINET reckon when I queried them)

I haven't been able to connect to Suncorp Internet Banking on 1 of my computers, all others no problem. I did a reset to IE 11 and now works fine, so something within IE may have had a hissy fit

Believe it or not I have something positive to report  :!:
I was playing around with the booking engine today looking at SYD-JFK J rtn with a stopover in LAX on the outbound to take advantage of the Early Bird sale.
Previously my experience when doing multicity to get a stopover the booking engine would price the itinerary well over the price compared with booking SYD-JFK direct. It now appears at the same price as the through booking.
Pretty happy with that :)

A stuff-up on QFs behalf perhaps? I'm certainly not an int guru, but I was under the impression that stop overs were almost always dearer.

Once upon a time it wasn't difficult to get a stopover on multi-city bookings. And the airfare was reasonably priced.

Somewhere along the way a glitch appeared where the simplest of changes to a multi-city itinerary started pricing as fully flexible.

The reservations consultants do not have the same glitch. I have called them to book some of these itineraries at the right cost instead of the inflated cost but it starts to take too much time. I want to be able to play around with itineraries and know the actual cost rather the cost showing due to the glitch.

Here's hoping that glitch has been fixed.

Based on my experience above it certainly looks promising

For what it is worth, we had issues with the QF website when we applied content filtering through Symantec. In trying to rectify it appears that QF using multiple sources to provide page content

The QF website is better than VA's; both are better than the Velocity FF website of the latter's.

Looks like the QF IT interns are at it again.
