Qantas Wine latest offering

$19.99 for this wine is a very good price, for me it's Australia's most consistent and I think best SB and has been for a long time. Saying that I don't drink SB much anymore but if I do I always try and get this Shaw & Smith one. Over the years around $20 is the cheapest I have ever seen it sold for and a quick google search now the cheapest price was $21.95 for a case buy plus the delivery fee you will not have to pay with Epiqure. Dan Murphy's price is $23.75 in six bottle buy.

Looking like a pretty good deal then. Thanks. The problem is now becoming where to store all said wine purchases!

Just received the Sensational Whites Dozen ( BBQ specials I think) $180 for 3540 QFF points and my bonus 5000 also credited as I have now purchased the required case amounts :D

How did you get 5K, its 3K for that dozen or 8K when you hit 48 bottles in the first year?

For new members there's 2K[SUB]QFF[/SUB] for first 12 bottles and another 8K[SUB]QFF[/SUB] for next 36. (About | epiQure by Qantas Frequent Flyer)

Is it only me or do other long term Epiqure members a bit left out here? I had ordered my dozens of wine fairly soon after signing up so I have banked my 8k long time ago. Now all you get is some bonus points for some really narrowly selected wines which just doesn't cut it for me- so far none of these had been tempting enough for me to order an entire dozen of them.

I like to taste different wines, am quite selective and actually enjoy picking and mixing them which is something the Epiqure experience doesn't give me at the moment. Lately, I've been back to buying at Dan Murphy's or ordering from some of the wineries I've been to over the last couple of years. As much as I would love to order from Epiqure for the points- I just haven't had much incentive lately to do so.

Is this a special link just for you Princess Fiona, or is it a general link? I can't see the bonus points on the Sensational Whites Dozen page: Wines | epiQure by Qantas Frequent Flyer

Not bad, 12 gets you 4000 points bonus at $6 a bottle cheaper than Dans!

Very good spot Markis10, thanks for the posting. I had not looked for around a week so this came in very handy as:

12 bottles for $347.88 - 10% discount for a late shipment in October ($34.79) = $313.09 ($26.10 per bottle)

Points
4000 points for offer
939 points for purchase (3 points per $ spent)
469 points for using new NAB Qantas Platinum Card (1.5 points per $ spent)

Overall
$313.80 spent
5388 FF points
12 bottles of Shiraz (quite partial to St. Hallett after frequent visits whilst living in Adelaide)

Lovely! :)

hmmmm. careful there. I think you may be disappointed.
When I went to use the discount voucher the bonus points disappeared.

Were the bonus points noted in the transaction receipt or order history?
