Qantas Wine latest offering

ends tomorrow - free delivery sitewide - this seems ok for premium members:
$197.94 6pk ($32.99) + 5000pts + extra 10% off for Points Club Plus members
  • Voyager Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
  • Voyager Estate Shiraz 2015
  • Voyager Estate Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2018

Thanks for the Voyager tip.
When I saw others had 10,000 bonus points, I thought I’d take a chance too.
Got it... 10,594 points.
Plus there’ll be another 396 on Qantas Biz and another 198 for using the AmEx.
11,188 points altogether... the the half doz from Voyager
Thanks
😀

$279.00 silly price except for...10,000 bonus points + Free Delivery
The side on picture of the red wine looks to me like Moss Wood cab/sav, but I might be dreaming.
The side on bottle looks like a Woodlands Cab Merlot to me which is a $25 bottle and the white probably similar value so paying a pretty big premium for some basic amenity kit. 10k points probably worth $50 at the moment

Vanguardist MVG 2019 is available for as low as $44 p/b for Points Club Plus members.

I tried a bottle tonight from a recent purchase elsewhere, and really enjoyed it. Can see why it gets such rave reviews.

I boomed on a case for the cellar.

Has anyone tried the 2018 Credaro 1000 crowns chardy?
Thinking of pulling the trigger on it at 45k QFF (not including 10% premium member disc).

I have had a Credaro before but not sure what it was besides it was the Kinship ( the lower tier in their range) not 1000 crowns. JH gave the 1000 crowns 97 points so I would pull the trigger.

Now $45/41:

Marquis de Goulaine Cuvee Cremant de Loire Brut NV

$20. Untasted by me, so a little wary that it might be a bit sweet. Anyone tried it?

Edit: on second thoughts, I think I'll just get more of the Jacquart as a "value" french sparkling. Not much more (except at Vintage Cellars!)

There are some good bonus point offers at the moment, e.g. 20,000 bonus points with a case of 6 Heirloom Anevo Grenache Touriga Tempranillo 2019 for $399 or 6 Dandelion Grenache Faraway Tree 2019 for $408.

I'm considering the Heirloom, though don't really need them, and I'm points rich (pending devaluation).

Anyone got any thoughts on it, couldn't find many notes about it on Cellar Tracker, even less (read: none) for the Dandelion?

Side note, I usually get a discount through chat, today was offered either a discount OR extra bonus points instead

Interesting to note, can’t say I’ve ever tried that. Anything in particular that prompts them to offer it?

No, I usually add things to cart and then open chat and say Hi, I've added these things to my cart, are there any discount codes going?
Typically they offer 5-10% off but today I got the option of discount or equivalent in points.

Not sure if it's because of premium membership, points club, or just something they always do for everyone who asks.
You do have to have details on file though as they process the sale through chat or over the phone.

Great advice re: opening the chat window and requesting a discount - I'll def give it a go - there are some good deals on at the moment.
