Qantas Wine latest offering

Is it just me, or does this seem half decent for $215.89 as PC+ (and earning 648 points)?

Might be good for some, but I wouldn't buy that mix and definitely not at that price. At least half of those wines I wouldn't want to drink.

The a big tag of 70% off can getchya.

Was it ever really for sale or valued at $800+ ? Nearly $70 a bottle?

Perhaps I should clarify… I don’t for a moment believe the RRP. But at under $17.50/bottle, I figure there’s probably something half decent to be had in there. Clearly not expecting Grange ;)

I've enjoyed the Schoolhouse out of that bunch @DejaBrew - who doesn't love a good Coonawarra Cab Sav? And I have bought some of the Schild Estate based on a few posts here but perhaps to get some bonus points too. Yet to try it though. But most of the others always seem to be on QFW or Vinomofo or similar, on deep special, in perpetuity.

Probably more than adequate for mid week pizza/pasta night.

Received a $50 voucher for $150 spend by email this morning.

Too bad the website is absolutely cough*** - can't view my cart after logging in.

Tossing up between the following with the voucher:
- Yalumba The Cigar Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 @ $23.20 per btl
- Langmeil Valley Floor Shiraz 2021 @ $17.70 per btl

SYD+1 received one of those also. Apparently no obvious expiry date so probably use it today/tomorrow to avoid disappointment as well as give PC renew a kickstart.

Cracked open a bottle of the Langmeil, excellent buy at this price.
Was that a sale?
Or do you calculate that after the 10% PC discount and $50 voucher?

I'm not familiar with that wine - is it better than, say, a Penfolds Max's wine, or pepperjack wine at a similar price level?

Price was after the 10% and $50 voucher. Definitely better than those options.

Cape Barren Flying Goose Shiraz 2019 is $120 per bottle with 5,000 bonus points. $108 for PCP and then down to $58 with a $50 voucher, or 1.16c per point. While it's not a huge number of points, it's probably the best cost per point you're going to find on Qantas Wine.
But bonus points aside, is the wine incredible? Would you pay $58 if there were no bonus points?

Noticed this one pop up & credit to Flightforumla for catching this.

Not quite as good as the 1.78 for Curtis Martins Vinyard, but still decent.

Recently dropped from Points Club Plus to just points club and noting that it is the last day of the month decided to phone in and see if I could get a few extra points, not sure if it was a purchase history thing or not but managed to wrangle an additional bonus. (Thanks to Rachel)
