Qantas Wine latest offering

I took it to read the first dozen of the wine plan, so passed quickly - as I did for the other 1K bonus offers - I have enough wine under my desk at the moment

I did a dummy order and the bonus points are not showing.

But is the bonus for the first dozen of any wine as a new member being advertised, the dummy order would suggest it is.

Ahhh, I get what you mean now... Yes, somewhat confusing

In checkout, remove the wine plan item, continue checkout with only membership in the cart and done. :D Assuming they don't cancel me....

I don't see why they would cancel...

Membership is fairly worthless (to both you and them), unless you purchase something at a later date, which then benefits them as much as you ;) ;)

I suspect the only reason they charge for membership is as an attempt faux luxury / exclusiveness... (and clearly enough people are paying for it, so they do make money :p).

FWIW, if I had to pay $59, I suspect that the $59 would chew up most of the "value" which I get from discounts and bonus points... There are other avenues to purchase wine in this country.

Having said that, of my preferred SSBs is on special (no bonus :( ), so I may have to buy a case or two :o

And if you do pay to join, you usually get a bottle of wine with similar value... Should be fine. Now just need to see if I get any offers worth spending on.

I stand corrected. That's a great deal. Thanks markis10, taking it up now!

I am not much of a Sav Blanc drinker but really enjoyed my first bottle last night, I will be interested to hear from others more experienced in the variety, its an Epiqure exclusive hence value is hard to define.

Are you sure that Sav Blanc comes with bonus points markis?

It's there on product list page, but not on product description page, or at checkout.

Were yours at checkout?

Mine where there at checkout, I can see doing a dummy run now they are not, I would be doing a Pauline Hanson on the phone!
