Qantas Wine referral program - 5,000 bonus Qantas points each

@JessicaTam perhaps this thread can be moved to the Referral thread? I can't see one there for Qantas Wine. A referral, which can only be done over the phone, would involve stating ones QFF number and possibly name too.
"Your call is important to us - please hold while we consider your request!" ;)

Thanks @JessicaTam.

I spoke to QF wine, There is 5000pts for referrer and referree. Forgot to check if I need to provide a name or any other details (but I suspect that it would be more convincing). Must have already purchased from QF wine though.

So would someone like to PM their QFF number?

No-one? 5000pts? I'm on the phone now trying to finalise an order. I'll ask if a name is needed or just a QFF number (of QF wine member)....

I will bite @Happy Dude . :)
I used this method last week when someone provided me their name and number. Was nice to receive an extra 5000 points on top of the wine bonus miles. Sent you a PM.

Anyone else wants 5,000 bonus miles please PM me for broker number and details required.

I was just about to post an update. Alas, @qaz jumped in for me last week. No last name was needed but being able to say "my mate [first name] referred me", felt like it helped.

The good: Ordered on Wednesday, wine delivered on Friday, wine points have posted on Saturday. For me, these will be retracted as I arranged for points to be manually credited immediately (to beat PC deadline). Was told referral points will be 1-2 weeks. Very good recommendations.

The bad: Lots of rules (eg must spend $350), can't split payments or orders (I wanted some sent to MEL for Xmas). I had a 10% off coupon but couldn't stack with $50 PC voucher (prolly fair enough). Prices not necessarily that sharp - the Rolf Binder I went for was offered by another site for $10/bt less about 1 minute after I purchased . Hard sell on other wines.

All up, not a bad experience.
