QANTAS's domestic sale(s)

Perhaps this sale isn’t for you then.
Perhaps not.

The only flight I have booked for OzFest is an F lounge run the Thursday before :D
As long as more "enhancements" are not announced before then and QF19 is still scheduled to operate SYD-BNE-MNL on Thursdays. ;)

Thats the gamble I suppose, not often you get dry season airfares for that money.
God knows I have gambled on everything, and anything, in my life but this may just well be one gamble I don't take.

Hey, the fares are as inexpensive as they are just about going to get for QF.

Plan for the future! What is it? $79 SYD/BNE ...

You need a platinum for that run as well, and how do you know you won't be working by then.

$79 BNE-SYD isn't to bad but for some reason my credit card is full again.

If you do not plan, what happens when it arrives and you are not ready?

Anyway, I just availed myself of the $119 each way for the FT AGM on Feb 19th Next year.

You are right but I don't want to give QF anymore changes fees than I have to right now.

The flights I had booked for this weekend were $79 each way and I have re-booked them for February with the current $79 sale and if you take the change fee into account the new flights actually cost $104 each way which is more than the normal red e-deal.

I have another return flight in 2 weeks which will more than likely need to be changed as well. I am even thinking my Christmas trip to Thailand is in jeopardy. I think it is best I do not book anymore flights until I have fully recovered and have decided I will be staying in BNE.

Apologies for going way off topic.

Change fees are an important part of assessing whether a fare sale is of value ;)

Might finish off my February bookings with this sale. But will bear in mind my newly acquired gold status as well.

Of course, I did put in for a different job this week. Might not be good have a heap of cancellations to do. ;)

Agreed. Even more rarely, it even (partially) covers school holidays. Plus the fares are a little better than they have been.
