We really need to catch up in an F lounge for dual WP 'first timer' celebration. A quick trip across the ditch on Weds 5th April?

Not sure if this has affected anyone else but had an issue with timing on a couple of bookings. Registered for the promotion and got confirmation 28.4.16 8.49am. Made the first booking same day at 9.35am for some reason they have it as being ticketed 27.4.16. I do have all the emails with times but this wasn't not required and they did a manual adjustment. Just a heads up to you all. If you were as keen as I and started booking that same day you might have an issue but a call should fix this. It relates to the original offer in April 2016.

There are reports already of the same issue on the new offer. The T&Cs say AEDT but their computer system uses GMT. So if you don't want hassles in future you should try to book during what would be the window if it was the same dates in GMT time in addition to booking within the window in the time specified in the T&Cs. This shouldn't be that hard for QANTAS to fix but it seems fixing it properly is not important to them.

Thanks for the additional information. I have one more booking under the 2016 offer that will need a call and 2 under the 2017 offer unless they fix the GMT issue thing . If they have another offer like this I won't be so keen to pull the trigger. I'll wait a day or so

I think that is the general vibe. We need to be smarter that the QF computers :shock:

There were a number of reports with the 2016 offer of the issue. QANTAS will honour it if you followed the written T&Cs but the 6 week wait to be able to get them manually crediting could be frustrating especially if the DSC will lead you to level up.

I'm wondering at what point I should be concerned about DSC not posting from my latest flight ?
I flew WLG -> LHR on the 21st and received the double status credits for WLG -> SYD on the 23rd , along with the standard credits for the Qf1 leg.

The main point that would concern me is that I upgraded this flight about 5 weeks ago , just paying the fare difference in cash for the Qf1 flight but not the WLG -> SYD flight (which has posted already)

I note that most times it appears to be roughly 2 days going by this thread, so I'm hoping it's soon, but if not I'm guessing I'll need to wait until the 6 weeks have passed? , annoying as this flights double SC would have taken me to WP for the first time which I wanted to utilise for lounge access / upgrade attempts on the return flight in mid April.

Not sure whether one would call the fare difference fair or not, but such a change could be why double credits haven't posted for QF1. Do also note that DSC don't post on the weekend. So you could find something comes through early in the week e.g. Tuesday.

Slight typo on that one although it wasn't too bad a price. Will have to check in later next week otherwise might be a case of calling up after the 6 weeks.
