QF Dreamliners in Y - what are people's experiences?

I’m 168cm and 60kg, my daughters are taller but slightly built.
They should call it Petite class. It’s not surprising because the marketing blurb and pictures has similarly sized people sitting in Y giving the impression that it’s spacious. Most of the models heads for the photos hardly go beyond the top of the seat.

OK. Thanks. Looking at the seat map, were there any passengers trying to use the space between row 40 (DEF) and the bulkhead as a shortcut to the other aisle? I’ve seen that sort of behaviour on some aircraft where they see a bit of room to cross over.

If offered the choice of 787 with 2-4-2 or 787 with 3-3-3 and the difference was only 15% then that's an easy choice.

And for the record Qantas is supposed to be a premium airline and should be offering a premium product even in economy.

I was very vocal about this until SQ put 3-3-3 into the 787. But having said that, SQ put it in a 787-10 flying short/medium haul whereas QF put it in a ULR 787-9 flying the longest route they operate.

Nope because we spread ourselves across that entire area. One of my teens is nearly 6ft so she had her feet on the bulkhead whilst asleep. Nobody came near us.

True.

I used to hate A330's compared to 747s and A380's but they're my favourite QF long haul aircraft now.
