U = auto lounge access in J lounge which unfortunately at LAX even with renos gets very busy.
As soon as you get into lounge suggest booking a shower spot

Good tip cheers.

We accessed the LAX lounge last year, on Oscars night actually - was fairly busy but still plenty of room. I imagine it can get quite manic...

Yes, this is what a Qantas employee suggested. More seats available for higher status members.

Hi all - great thread! I was about to start a new one and chanced across this in a search and have just read the 26 pages...

I need some help from someone with Bronze membership level :) I am currently Silver but about to drop back to Bronze (in a week). I have one flight left to book as part of my OW Award flight and am nervous that I am not going to have visibility of the flights I want to book in two weeks time with Bronze status.

What I am after, can someone with Bronze status search for JFK-LAX in August 2017 for F seats. I see a lot of availability as Silver. I am actually after a flight around 19th of September.

AA Domestic F is not too flash, except for these particular flights (A321T) so I really want to snare the last piece in the puzzle!

Thanks in advance.

Lots of F availability in August looking at my partner's bronze account, but nothing for September.

I wouldn't have thought your QF status would affect your access to AA reward seats :)

Hi ozmatt,

Just ran a comparison between (partner's) NB and my SG - can't see any difference (though previously I've seen lots of variation). As Doctore1003 says: quite a bit of F in August but nothing (currently) beyond Sep 3 - and only limited Y (4, 6, 7, 11, 16,17,18).

Regards,

BD

Thanks mate that makes me feel a little better :) Will be keeping a close eye on it for next couple of weeks!

Might be running into holiday problems.Unis have a spring break with weeks starting late August for some then every week through September.
School holidays only start 15/9 sept so shouldn't be a problem out of LAX.

Good points! I might have to book the business fare I can see now and drop another 3500 points if I see a F open up.
