When I hit express checkout, I got an Error page, so went back and processed again, now I have 2 seats >.<

well I had got into it ...as far as selecting my seat ... I had it 43D .... pressed continue and it disappeared into a Generic Error screen ....... and couldn't get it back .... bugger

I had that problem too, but eventually made it through and have the e-ticket in my email already. I hope you managed to get on eventually.

Yep, crashed twice whilst booking the Sydney flight, then tried Canberra and got to the payment page and then that crashed too. Had that same generic error screen each time.

Sydney must have sold out within seconds, and Canberra sold out within minutes.

Really frustrating to miss out, especially after getting so close. Wish QF put on a couple more flights to meet demand...

I now have a booking out of Brisbane, went easy for me, couldn't get any window seats so settled for a aisle on the 3 side.

What are peoples thoughts on the photo op at the end? Are they going to take photos in the terminal with the plane outside behind glass, or will they park at a remote bay and let people alight by the stairs to actually stand at the foot of the plane (or a little further forward to get all in shot)?

Thanks @serfty and @ajd - you were life savers! Managed to get a seat for me and my Dad before it sold out. For some reason I couldn't get the page for like 5 minutes on either of my computers or any of my browsers...
