AFAIK no flights from origin to another airport which then has nonstop to SYD, so would be minimum 2 transit points just to SYD.
NM said:I really don't think Dave was thinking the UK when he said Europe. In fact I doubt his "Europe" staring point is defined as Europe by anything other than airline continent definitions . Most maps and geographers would place it in another continent. I epxect he could get to SYD with a single transit point, but not to NZ.

Oh yes ... silly NM. And there was me thinking I understand the definition of international vs domestic flights. I was sure that AKL-CHC is not a domestic flight (at least according to QF) .Dave Noble said:When I say Europe, I don't mean Europe in the geographical meaning, but in the meaning that the service is a Club Europe service. Silly NM; you probably think that Canada and USA are different countries too, but obviously trips between them are domestic

No departure tax, no immigration queues and no MAF either.Kiwi Flyer said:Only for the purposes that suits QF. No free booze, no food, minimal IFE - all things you'd expect for an international flight. No duty free on arrival either

But I did not say it was an international flight, just that it is not a domestic flight . You are assuming those are the only two options!Kiwi Flyer said:Only for the purposes that suits QF. Its called an "anomaly" Or perhaps "Intranational" :shock:Kiwi Flyer said:What is a flight that is both not domestic and not international?
Bur Qantas do allow for your International seating preferences; although "Upper Deck" has no effective meaning here.Kiwi Flyer said:Only for the purposes that suits QF. No free booze, no food, minimal IFE - all things you'd expect for an international flight. No duty free on arrival either
I guess you mean Brisbane. Sorry can't handle country towns. I like to live in a big city with nightlife after 8:00pm!drron said:Mate you are going to have to move.Last week paid 88.9c with a 6c off woollies voucher.
This place is on the tip of my tongue but just can't quite think of the name. Any tips to help me remember the name?NM said:I really don't think Dave was thinking the UK when he said Europe. But also the A$ exchange rate has been at yearly highs. Currently at 78.8c. So that should counteract the slight increase in oil price in US$.serfty said:I note that the oil price has gone up over USD61 per barrel in the last days or three ...
Actually, not in the last month. Taking the last 5 Wednesdays I get the following:NM said:But also the A$ exchange rate has been at yearly highs. Currently at 78.8c. So that should counteract the slight increase in oil price in US$.
