QF - Please fix up your very poorly laid out Airline Earning Table

Thanks Red Roo... Some feed back on the Status Credit calculator: when I want to check JQ *class flights, it comes up with QF doesn't fly that route.

eg: SYD-DPS in business states - there are no direct flights between Sydney and Denpasar. Use the timetable to search for connecting flights.
Don't forget to mention the routes that both QF and JQ/3K fly, like PER-SIN.

If one tries to use the calculator for PER-SIN in any class one gets the error "Perth to Singapore is operated by Jetstar. You can earn Frequent Flyer points and Status Credits on Jetstar JetFlex and StarClass fares only."

Clearly the calculator is unaware that Perth to Singapore is also operated by Qantas! Considering how close PER-SIN is to the cusp of 2 different mileage earning brackets this is most annoying indeed.

Nice piece of work, thewinchester - just one question - your posting took us to another thread and then the site - but it mentioned only v. 4 and you said you were sitting on v. 8 due to unforseen involvement with a car (teach laptops to look right, left and then right again!) - what's happened to 5, 6 and 7, or did you go straight from 4 to 8, or are the updated contacts later in the thread?
v5-7 were internal testing releases which weren't put out to the public.

Check back on the webpage in question in a few weeks, where v8 will be put out for use.

Well the changes have happened about an hour or two ago:

Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Terms & Conditions

The new layout is much clearer (not perfect, but much, much clearer) and contains a disclaimer regarding SC earning.

There are still some issues (eg the BA one is broken and experiences the same issue QF earning did before the fix), but it's on the right track.

Amazing how much easier it is when all the cells align properly. Alitalia is broken as well.

Wow, that was quick and so was the Jetstar points/SC posting to QF accounts, but still no news on the "E" thread. ;)

We are following up on the feedback you've provided. I'll have the team look at the other examples that have been mentioned, thanks again for your feedback.

Thanks MAL for starting this thread - I have a feeling this was the impetus for either the revision or an acceleration of a planned revision.

Thanks for actioning the feedback - good to see that someone is listening :D

I'm still sitting on the 0.8 version, which hasn't been finished due to my laptop (Macbook Pro) being run over by a car.
LOL!

Now what could the laptop possibly do to a car to make a car run over the laptop? Very strange indeed!

I think I posted in OTT when it happened. But to cut a long story short, I collapsed in a carpark whilst walking home late one night, and the driver of a vehicle that has not been identified wasn't watching where they were going.

Lucky they ran over my bag and not me.

Thanks RedRoo. Could I add another to the "wish list".

The SC/points calculator will often tell you QF doesnt fly between ports, when often it is sold as codeshare. eg. LHR-CDG, you get:

sc calc via qantas.com said:
There are no direct flights between London and Paris.

Perhaps the SC calculator could be updated to include all sectors sold with QF (codeshare) flight numbers, as people will be booking this typically from the qf site.

Thanks

(note: some do work. eg AKL-SCL which is QF code on LA)
