They will need to change the message, from Qantas.com.au when you choose OOL-SYD, maybe it will start in time for our AFF6 Gathering on the Gold Coast.

We can finally fly into the Gold Coast again instead of circling around Brissy for ages and then driving down there which is what I (and most of my colleagues) am doing currently...

Am I the only one majorly excited about this? And who knows, if Sydney does well, maybe Melbourne will be added at a later point in time

I think its great to see the Red Roo back at OOL but surely they could have started with a route that does not already have some wicked pricing on it?

I would not be surprised to see destinations beyond SYD, gives QF a chance to take some of the BNE traffic away to an airport without the infrastructure issues BNE has, and relieves pressure on their own facilities like the J and QP lounges.

Would be cool, even if part of a bigger milk run. That said, I'll take any intra-QLD flights too

I think its great to see the Red Roo back at OOL but surely they could have started with a route that does not already have some wicked pricing on it?

Which OOL route isn't already full of wicked pricing though?

Presumably the flights will be timed well for international connections through SYD.

I have the whole 'reporter" outfit inclusive of the beret.. Damn..I forgot the lanyard & the 'unofficial AFF PRESS 'backstage" access all areas pass.

Hi all,

It is something that has come up on AFF a lot so really glad we can announce this one - three flights per day on a Boeing 737-800 with Faster Smarter Check-in kiosks and Q card readers at the airport in Coolangatta. You can book flights from today (special launch fares ) with travel starting from the end of October.
