The time I joined the QANTAS program is quite a memorable date for me, but it certainly is a big hassle for some to try to remember it when they don't have their card on them.

I haven't been selected to go on the trial yet.

Count your blessings. It's a pain in the butt. The alternative method of logging in (not via mobile texts) doesn't always log you in properly and you have to keep digging around to find active links. Social media have lodged feedback to management but they don't care. It's being rolled out to everyone despite the negative feedback.

Nothing for either of us yet thank goodness.

I always carry my original blue LTQP card as most have absolutely no idea what it means except me having life time status.SINWTTIA as regards status.
Have to put your thinking caps on for that one!

Logged onto account this afternoon - no OTP required this time??? Perhaps Pushka's had a win!

You got me excited there. But no.

It starts off random and now I get it every single damn time.

And now there's a clock ticking down. I now have to do this every single time.

The requirement of MFA to have to happen over SMS (I persist - this is the stupidest way for a travel to do this), plus the short session duration on qantas.com (you sneeze and you're logged out) makes the Qantas website extremely frustrating to use.

My Google and Apple accounts are arguably many times more important than Frequent Flyer account and they let you 'remember this computer' to avoid MFA every time you log in.

I think the pendulum has swung too far.

And management have been given feedback from their own social media team and don't give a damn. And continue to make it even more frustrating.

I'm currently trying to change my mobile number on the Qantas site. It asks multiple security questions (post code, DOB, MMN) which is fine. Then for some reason it sends an SMS security code to the new phone number, and asks me to enter it - but it fails to recognise the code it sent. Tried three times and the cough thing locked me out.

i was trying to do the same thing, but it never sent the security code to either the new or old phone no. Tried once and gave up as I didn't have enough time to fiddle :(

If QF doesn't give me any other option than SMS for 2FA I think I'll have to give them a call about it when back home. If enough people ring up maybe they'll do something about it.

2FA is not yet enabled on my account but I think they'll turn it on for everyone soon.

The social media team have already lodged complaints including from one or two from their own team. They are not listening.

You can use the alternate log in but that isn't working properly yet. You can see you are logged on with your name showing but when I was looking at an award booking it said I had to log in! But I was.

Got the monthly update email with this silly 2FA at the top. Saying to log in and confirm details.

Go to website, log in. Site claims the correct log in details are wrong and no longer shows any log in box.
