It's interesting that people have this attitude towards salad, it has protein, to me it is only lacking heat compared to the hot meal...I'd rather a decent salad than the hot slop that is typical of airline food on shorter sectors (granted hot QF dom catering is decent imo)I wish someone would survey me...I'll tell them what I thought. The attitude of my FA when I refused my box of grass was if she cooked it herself.
I actually got row 5 on that flight too.
Most QF hot meals were not too bad. The chicken salad is OK but to be served the same salad every time is a bit boring. I wish there would be more variety.
They don't look the best - almost like someone opened a tin of Pal's dog food and put it in the tray, but actually tasted ok.
Although dog biscuits are quite nice. (I was tricked into trying it).
