Second bottle purchased with a story. The first bottle was poorly decanted and there was a large piece of cork in the decanter. We showed the Sommelier and he offered us a bottle of the Kyloe gratis. We negoatiated a discount from another bottle of The Factor. Torbrek have a rep here and he came to our table and straight away recognized us from last year (well, the table did buy 3 Laird’s). He admitted that he had decanted the bottle and agreed to the changeover. This one is a lot better.

Ok, scooting off as it looks like pleasant weather to walk back to the city !

Even if the German Club right opposite the QCC entrance looks inviting, I need food more than beer (and had a quiet one earlier and one yesterday at the Adeliside German Club as it’s been sold and the final bash is on 2 Feb while Im still away

Okay @CaptJCool, I'll be walking past the Gabba Members areas on my way from the bus to the QCC (next to Gate 3 IIRC) about 12:30pm. I'm tall (6'3") in tan pants and a blue + white check shirt, with a backpack and the 2 flying things hanging off my bag (see photo from yesterday). I'll shop near the entrance stairs (either there or next to the police car that is parked there usually every day).
