I snuck into 4C at T-80, but someone at Qantas just moved me to 18D

I did my OLCI this morning at T-23:55 for QF400 and am seq 2. Fair enough. (LiamR???)
As my flights are linked I could check in for QF860 as well, even though it was T-27. Seq 23!!! What the?
Maybe all the QF execs get advanced advance check-in, or lots of people are flying long-haul for the flight.
QF861/439 both seq 1 at T-29/T-32 so happy now.

I may have been sitting in bed at 6:01 this morning and checked myself in
Seq 1 for QF400
Seq 22 for QF860
Very strange, oh well.
Cos for an inaugural flight it is all about the seq on the BP. Well, for some!OLCI? Why not just NGCI when you get to MEL!?

Even craziness has a scale. I thought just being on the inaugural flight was crazy enough!
Looks like only 5-6 and beyond.Anyone get into row 4 SYD-OOL?
I don't even know how....
Well I'll be kicking your seat for an entire 90mins
Thank you for the information. Only 2 months old. I am not sure if it has been named yet; it could be one of the 'reason we fly' planes.VH-XZA has the honours of operating the inaugural flight (of course subject to any last minute aircraft swaps).
Ah yes, I stand corrected re its name.A nice new aircraft - Leeton - two months old.
VH-XZA Qantas Boeing 737-838(WL) - cn 39367 / ln 4150 - Planespotters.net Just Aviation
and it is the "named" plane
