QFF Bonus Status Credits/Points gift on back of Aug 2023 profit

No email or sign of the offer in my (updated) app here. Haven't flown on a QF flight in the relevant period. Did have a couple of (SC earning) 3K flights though. Plenty of OW partner flights in that period (earned the SC for requalifying WP easily, but only 3/4 flights - would have been given it even without the SC).

Have booked a number of QF tickets/flights during the period, but not yet flown.

Can't complain, but it does seem they aren't just giving it to everyone.

They probably will count towards PC/PC+

Unless you've already maxed out the 20K points from flying.
But these poinst are not from flying. I expect it well be like the 10K from attaining Green Tier, which do not count towards PC/PC+. Only points "earned" from partners count towards PC/PC+, not points "gifted" from QFF themselves.

No they're not giving it to anyone (and fair enough too).

But all you have to do is be a FF, have quoted your membership number and have booked (by 21 August 2023) a Qantas (QF) marketed and operated flight for travel between 1 July 2022 and 30 August 2023.

Indeed, but just noting that some people claim they hadn't met the conditions but still received the gift. It doesn't seem to be universal though.

The “thankyou” / “apology” points last year counted towards PC. Although they posted as a loyalty bonus or something like that, they were counted as “Flying” points. As mentioned earlier, they maxed out my flying quota (even before I’d had a chance to step foot on a plane at the start of last member year).

Hmm. QFF anniversary is 31 August. Points take "up to 4 business days" to land.

If redeemed on 30 August when the offer ends, maybe QFF points would arrive in September... Could help towards another PC+...

Offered 75SC/5000pt. Have done 2 rewards flights and 5 paid flights in the last 12 months.
Same here. My anniversary is 31 Aug. 75 SCs useless for me so 5k points only option. Would be nice to have a few more days to respond.

I haven't got the email with my km travelled but I did get offered the 30/1000 in the app. Last year I flew PER-ABZ return (so around 30,000km) plus PER-SIN return (8,000km). So if its based on distance what is the cutoff for the 75/5000?
I have a couple of flights booked before my year ends so I took the SC. I might make silver.

Or accept the 75SC on the 31st August around 11pm.

T&C's state it can take up to 4 days to post. Could be a win.

I imagine the effective date will be the the date the selection is made as it is with flights; the date it actually posts is irrelevant.

For those wondering what threshold is being used to determine who gets 5k QFF/75 SC, the press release confirms it is 10 flights.

I guess we will find out soon :)

Except for us lucky few where they failed to post, then when they were transferred manually - they counted as 30K non-flying for PC. Very nice.

I saw it last night when I went to check in online for my flight tonight via the app. I saw the email this morning, where they thanked me for clocking up 21,209 kms - over 16 flights. I got the 75SC/5000 pts offer. As I'm LTG and won't requalify for WP this year, I took the points.

Just to note you have to make your selection by 30 August.

Hence my question earlier upthread.
