NAB has a business credit card which credits straight to QFF and includes business expenses - earn rate isnt that great but in conjunction with EDR rewards card could work out ok - info here....nab.com.au>business>cards>NAB Qantas Business Card

I have this card (it is a mastercard, not visa) and agree that earn rate is not great at 1 point per $1.50 spend, but points are uncapped and can confirm that paying taxes will still earn you points. didn't research it much at all as we have our other banking with nab already.

I pay all taxes and BAS on NAB Amex

OK, dumb-boy here ... how do people pay tax bills via AMEX?

Looking at my Quarterly PAYG notice: DD option states Credit Cards are excluded; I can't see any option on the AMEX website for setting up a BPAY payment to the ATO; I know the Post Office won't accept cc payments (have asked previously, only EFTPOS); ATO Branches "Payments cannot be made by credit card ... at any Tax Office branch or shopfront."

How's it done??

BD

Thanks! Still took me a while to find the actual link out to the EasyPay site - eventually got there.

Gee, if this was a business rather than Government, there'd be a link to it from every page - and details on the physical payment demand!!

Regards,

BD
