I've definitely seen some of my flight go from no I availability to I4 (P released) to even U1 opened right before the flight.

Yeah I asked about a few dates and flights all around the same time. Basic trip premise is Singapore/Tokyo/Okinawa and I played around with 2 weeks of departures and going to Singapore and Tokyo first. All requests got denied despite every flight being A2+ or I2+ and all the agents could say was allocation has been exhausted.

The trip has to be very end of June to first 2 weeks of July so not heaps of room and also creeps into school holidays. We're pretty flexible within that time so might just wait and see if either more QF availability is released (call back in a month or so) or look for BA/JAL/CX closer the departure date.

The most dissapointing part is not getting double SCs on them tbh.

Perhaps make a dummy CR booking in Y and try again later? If my OWA is anything to go by, they can do release then ammend your existing bookings with the change fee.

You should be able to change it in either the app or website. The last selection you made prior to the window closing is what sticks to all of your bookings made during the eligibility window.

"View or change your choice of reward in the Qantas App until 18 March 2025. If you have multiple flight bookings, you'll earn the same reward across all flights."
