Heaps of availability too. By comparison, AirAsiaX is more than double the price for most of those dates :shock:

Interestingly it books into Z which doesn't earn points on BMI or USAirways.

As noted you can accrue with United at 125%.

I booked Air Asia (MEL-KUL-STN & ORY-KUL-MEL) a while ago for $909 all in, now I see QR has $793 for the same dates, probably could have done the train from BRU-LON for less than $118. :-|

I flew Qatar just in economy from KL to Athens and then London to KL in 2010 and for those of us not accustomed to J and up )) i found it very nice, specially the food which was a cut above Qantas sorry to say... unfortunately don't fly out of Perth like most airlines, so added costs for us as nearly always...

I saw this fare come up from STA travel which i like their page on Facebook, so they do flash up some good flight offers now and then, maybe others have their own sources...

I also joined Qatar's ff scheme, but not sure i ever claimed the points, not sure if they were going to add up to about 2000 in either direction and didnt seem like they would get much if redeemed... any idea what they would be equivalent too in in UA points???
