ran out of food in business class

I have taken that flight. It departed Sydney well after 10.00am. No-one got breakfast as it's a lunch flight.
Well it is scheduled for 0925.and on holidays there are those of us who see no necessity in getting up before 1000 so a meal at 1030-1100 certainly can pass as breakfast.
Actually some times it does annoy me having lunch at Morning Tea time.

Maybe brunch would be good, :D but I've found the departure that I was referring to. The meal would be after 12noon on this flight. Not breakfast for most:

Thats good of them, but still..as the saying "you can put lipstick on a Pig but it's still a Pig!"

.....or "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" or "you can't make strawberry jam out of pig cough". Funny how sayings often make reference our porcine friends. :p

The caterers will load whatever QF orders and pays for......

On occasion caterers have also been know to invoice the airline for a full cabin but supply less than what's invoiced.

Just flew China Southern to Guangzhou on business, these guys had trouble serving scotch on the plane, they had no idea what it was. QF isn't that bad.

so you ask for whiskey or Johnnie Walker. I'm quite sure if someone spoke in Chinese to many QF crew they also wouldn't understand.

No way, try getting some McDonalds pancakes after 10.30.

You can eat Cornflakes at dinner time, but that doesnt make it breakfast. :)

Having sent my daughter to Shanghai from Sydney in business class
Ran out of choices available for breakfast and was offered only vegetable lasange.
Not offered a drink with the meal.
Ran out of snacks after 4hours into a 11 hour flight.
Service was certainly below par having flown first class on the A380 & 747 to Lax where service has always be A1, but this was certainly not the case on this flight where even flight attendants seemed less than helpful.
Wow, and this was a QF flight?
I hope you have gone to the QF site and filled out a complaint.
Wow, I got that kind of treatment once and once only and never again did I fly with them again, coming back from Singapore on Jetstar on their product then which was starclass..

OT aside - Not sure if it is everywhere, but some Maccas have pancakes available as an all day favourite.

Your point is valid though!

cheers,

It is breakfast if your first meal of the day is at 8:00pm!

Happened to me a couple of days ago.

Cornflakes at 8.00pm? I take it that you weren't on a flight. :p I'd like to see a breakfast dish offered on an 8.00pm flight.
