No. You would need to book 4 separate tickets as each booking needs to be in the name of the person travelling, otherwise they would not be allowed to board.

Sorry , what I meant was, could I book it 4 times for 4 different people to get it at the lower rate.
Does VA software see you are trying to book for 4 people, so it 'bumps' the points up? or is it really full.

I'm worried, I might be able to book 1, then the next one I book it will be 100k points, so that defeats the purpose...if you know what I mean?

I am pretty sure you will find there is only one reward seat left. Once you add the extra pax it reverts to revenue fares which in this case is any seat and a much higher points cost. It absolutely will not allow you to buy 4 single fares at the lower points cost.

You need to ring for first, but can book online for J. You can see F availability on Etihad guest first to check seats are available if you like

How about Vanuatu? Only about a 3 hr flight. It's cheap, safe and beautiful! Don't know about reward stuff but could check out Virgin flights.

Japan probably doesn't tick the relaxation box but is within reach. Not easy on VA points though as you have to go via SIN as I recall. QF probably a better option.

Thanks for the extra ideas.
We ended up booking a trip to cairns (then to port douglas) for 4 people return. Not the best value...but meh, we can stop stressing about our trip for this year
I think we got decent value, as we are going during peak, and the tickets were really expensive for those dates
