Better than I have had in the past.

The chandelier over the bath tub is one of the weirdest thing I've seen in a hotel room. Is there a control to lower it into the tub for a relaxing electrocution? ;)

Looks modern for an outback motel ;)

I stayed at the Duke of Cornwall for two weeks whilst I was there for work late last year. An old corner pub, one of many in Broken Hill, that has now been turned into a homely bed & breakfast - and from $60 a night that's pretty cheap ;)

Stayed at the Red Earth for a few days about 19 month ago. We had 2 bedroom unit, very comfortable and good location.
In fact would recommend Broken Hill as destination for a short holiday. Lots to see the area.

Haven't been to Broken Hill since 2000. The hospital accommodation (up hill behind hospital) was in fact very good - one of the best i stayed in as a med student anywhere.

The hospital "accommodation" in Wilcannia - not so great. So bad a GP who arrived a couple of days after me took one look and decamped to the local motel - not that it was especially better......

Excellent Motel the Red Earth at Broken Hill. Had 5 nights there last September, exploring the area. Modern, good location for restaurants. Good owner/managers. The place to say in the Silver City.
