First time post!
I have a $600 voucher with Qantas that expires next month, the result of a Red e Deal fare that I cancelled last year. I don't have need to travel with Qantas before expiry but similarly don't want to make Qantas $600 richer. Would the following work?
Book a $725 fully refundable one way BNE SYD Business Fare using the voucher. To do so I would have to pay a $99 (I think) change fee. Then, before the day of travel cancel the fare for a cash refund. Would this work or is the Qantas system smart enough to recognise I paid for the Business Fare using a voucher and put me back to where I started?
Thanks
