Restaurant program has returned!

I would retain the confirmation email, the Dimmi reminder email and the restaurant docket until the points have posted.

Interesting, I just got a reminder from Dimmi about tomorrow night's booking which was made through the Qantas link. The reminder however, makes no mention of Qantas , is in the Dimmi style and quotes my Dimmi points balance (I am an existing member). The initial confirmation was received from Qantas is in a totally different format consistent with the Qantas branding.

I wonder which program it will credit points to - Qantas, Dimmi or both?

I'm watching - did a Qantas [`dimmi`] dine last Sunday night - the place used to post dimmy dines regularly but lately I have had to chase up.

I too received the 'pure dimmi' email.

Anyhoo we did dine, and it has not posted yet.

I,m a dimmi regular too. it will be interesting to see if , and where any points post. please keep us updated.

Dining at a restaurant tonight booked via qantas restaurants, they had a reserved table for us when we got there.. Will be interesting to see how long the points take.

Is there any minimum spend for this 100 points?
My local pizza shop is a partner. Mmm I wonder if they will let me do takeaway?

How does it work I wonder? does the restaurant have to tick off in the system that you attended for the points to release? Or is it a matter of as long as you made a booking and it wasn't cancelled then you still get the points?

Reason I ask is they didn't appear to do anything on the computer to say I turned up, so I hope I still get my points. I kept my receipt just in case.

The venue does indeed have to advise Dimmi that you fronted. Of course that costs thmn a couple of $$ to do so - keep your dockets until they do post.

Nope, it is just dine in (not take away) and based on the number of diners. If you book for 4 and 3 front up, you only get 300 points.

It appears to be slower than Dimmi in posting points. I have two bookings from mid December, no points posted yet.

Has anyone received their points yet from any bookings?

I had dinner for 6 booked via QF & Dimmi (Dec 28 was the dinner). Still waiting for my 600 pts.

I've had 2 dinners at 2 different restaurants x2 pax still no points been about 2-3 weeks so far.

Speaking of restaurants, has anyone dined at the Royal mail in Dunkeld

Royal Mail Hotel in South Western Victoria - Read the reviews @ Dimmi

Restaurant & Cellar - Royal Mail Hotel

It's wine list is 103 pages and the food is supposed to be outstanding

I dined there about 2 years ago.

Unfortunately, at the time, the proper restaurant was closed (apparently for renovations) - only the bistro was open. Food was still very good. Wine list was unbelievable - a few bargains, too, like an old Grange for less than $400 for a bottle. Apparently, a lot of the wine is from the building owner's private cellar (from memory, he's a wealthy lawyer, or something similar).

Having said all that, the chef who won them their 3 hats, Dan Hunter, left recently and I haven't read any reviews since he left.

Dan Hunter recently took over Sunnybrae in Birregurra from George Biron and renamed it Brae. Again, haven't read any reviews, or eaten there.

Please note that it can take up to 8 weeks following the date that Qantas receives notification from the restaurant.

However, as always, your points will credit as per the date if the activity and our Frequent Flyer team are on standby to assist should you have any concerns or queries.

Thanks for the update.

Can you please explain the process? After the booking is taken does the restaurant email QF that X people turned up for the meal? And what happens if they don't notify QF?

Thanks
