Re: Return to Rockford - April 2017

Excuse my ignorance, but am I correct in assuming that the tour includes a bus/transport organised to and from Adelaide for the day or is this extra and we need to sort out return transport to the Barossa? It wasn't clear to me in the details. If transport is included is there a particular departure point or will it do a hotel pickup? Thanks in anticipation.

The tour cost includes a bus (departing Adelaide Convention Centre, North Terrace, CBD), all touring, tastings and lunch, and returns you to either the airport, or a CBD location (usually the tour start point, or sometimes the Hilton Adelaide).

Transport to/from the Barossa is included. Coach picks up from the usual meeting place outside the Convention Centre on North Terrace. There will be an airport drop off on the return journey for those heading home.

You're a funny guy Steady.

Thanks Buzz unamed +1

Not seen any tasting notes from this years BP release, hope its as good as the one we had the other day Buzz

The event is now live on TRYBOOKING

Ticket price is $123.00 which represents $120 for the event plus the recovery 2.1% + .50c that trybooking charges me. On previous years I have worn this cost myself but now that I’m about to become unemployed …..

Trybooking also charge you the purchaser $0.30c per ticket.

Please refer to the following link re collection of money: http://www.australianfrequentflyer.c...tml#post735996 (Recommended guidelines on collection of funds for attending events advertised on AFF).

Just a reminder that if you make a purchase from Artisans of the Barossa you will get a $10 refund of your tasting fee. I’m pretty sure that Ruby and I will buy at least one bottle each to get our twenty bucks back

As the event draws closer I shall post a reminder as to the departure time and place (same place as always unless there are some sort of road restrictions)

I’m always on the lookout for donations of prizes to give away on these events and on this occasion member Danger has graciously donated some items to give away. Many thanks Danger for your generosity.

Captain Haliday, maybe you could do a status run to ADL?

But the giver of the question must take themselves out of the answering ;)

Looks like I'll be looking on from the sidelines :( - vicariously. Must have pictures posted here...please.
