QFF Hello frequent flyers, sadly I have to cancel our trip to Israel which I had dedicated so many hours of my life to secure business class seats for a family of four 🥲. We still want to do the Thailand part. Unfortunately there doesn’t even seem to be economy reward flights Melb to BKK around 5th Dec. does anyone know if they usually release more seats closer to the date?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Which carrier/FF program?

As for additional seats, they might but they might not. Anyway, have a look on seats.aero

I had a quick look on LifeMiles (*A) as they generally have good availability MEL<>BKK...particularly in economy...Dec looks completely blocked out to me.

I managed to get 3 QF economy rewards seats SYD-BKK on Christmas Day on what will be our last First Lounge visit.

Coming back the first available QF economy award flight ex Asia is early May. SQ is not much better. Ridiculous.

Any wonder people can't take airlines seriously. It's just take, take, take with very little give.

Leading up to Aust school holidays, it can be hard.

Also, for the time being, QF is using an AY aircraft for the SYD - BKK route.
But they know they can sell seats for a rev fare, so maybe, they don't want to put rewards on this route that much, if they know they can make rev on it.

Very popular around your travel date of 5 Dec. If you are reasonably flexible, there are some reward Y seats out of SYD towards the end of Nov....good luck

Just confirming AY doesn’t start until March 2024. SYD-BKK still QF A330 in the interim.
